The letter concerns clarification of certain aspects of Gustav Mahler's contract with the Metropolitan Opera for the years 1908 to 1911. The item is apparently a page from a carbon of the typescript draft for Alma Mahler's memoir Gustav Mahler - Erinnerungen und Briefe (the letter from Kahn was not included in the published book).
